Barbecue Marinade

Ingredients :

1 cup (250 ml) Golden Syrup
1/2 tsp (2 ml) mustard sauce
4 tsp (20 ml) Worcestershire sauce
1-2 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp (30 ml) vinegar
1/4 cup (60 ml) tomato ketchup or puree
1 small grated onion
1 tsp (5 ml) salt

Preparation :

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, heat gently, and stir until smooth and blended. Apply as a glaze during last 30 minutes of roasting. Repeat glazing at least twice while roasting. Use on turkey, prawns, chicken or lamb.
